  1. New    (Cmd-N)
  2.    The New command enables you to create a new document window. 
  3.  When New is selected from the File pull-down menu, a dialog box 
  4.  appears that allows you to set the attributes of the new document. 
  5.  These attributes include:
  6.     Page Size ‚Äî the size of the document‚Äôs page. This can range from 
  7.  as small as 1" x 1", to as large as 24" x 24" (for facing-page 
  8.  documents) or 48" x 48" (for single-sided documents). 
  9.        US Letter     8 1/2" wide, 11" tall (default setting) 
  10.        US Legal     8 1/2" wide, 14" tall 
  11.        A4 Letter     210 mm wide, 297 mm tall 
  12.        B5 Letter     182 mm wide, 257 mm tall 
  13.        Tabloid          11" wide, 17" tall 
  14.        Other    size specified by Width and Height  
  15.      Units - the measurement units for all the numerical information in
  16.  the dialog box. It specifies also the units displayed on the rulers, when
  17.  document is created.
  18. Margin Guides ‚Äî the distance from the page guides to the edges of
  19.  the paper. Margins are preset to 1/2" on top and bottom sides and to
  20.  0.7‚Äù on left and right sides.
  21. Double Sided Pages can be used to indicate Inside/Outside
  22.  margins versus Left/Right, and to set up the original master page
  23.  with left and right page components. 
  24. Pages  ‚Äî defines thÔ£ø of the starting page and the number of
  25.  pages in a document. 
  26. Column  ‚Äî defines columns for the original master page and the first
  27.  page of the document. 
  28. Number - defines the number of columns.
  29. Spacing - changes the distance between columns.
  30. If Automatic Text Box is checked, the original master page and
  31.  first page of the document will contain an automatic text box having
  32.  the specifications defined by the Page Size, Margin Guides and
  33.  Column Guides.
